Actress Kim Yong-rim expressed her heartfelt feelings towards her late husband, actor Nam Il-woo.
On the 16th, in the broadcast of TV Chosun's 'Perfect Life', the 61-year veteran actress Kim Yong-rim appeared and shared her daily life.
On that day, Kim Yong-rim visited actor Song Seung-hwan, who held a photo exhibition to celebrate his 60th anniversary in the industry, with a bouquet of flowers to congratulate him. She then asked, "How did you come up with the idea for a photo exhibition?"
Song Seung-hwan replied, "A book was published to commemorate my 60th anniversary. Most people hold a publication celebration, but I didn't want that. Since I have many photos taken while working in theater, film, and drama since I was young, I thought it would be nice to curate some of them for an exhibition this time."
Kim Yong-rim admired, "You did really well. I bet no other actor has ever thought of this or even imagined it." To this, Song Seung-hwan said, "Many people don't have as much material as I do."
Kim Yong-rim shared, "Starting with me, we are all actors in the family. Even though Nam Il-woo was particularly good at scrapbooking and kept a lot of my work, I never thought of doing something like this at all."
Lee Sung-mi, who was in the studio, remarked to Kim Yong-rim, "I think you would think a lot about Nam Il-woo when you go to such places."
In response, Kim Yong-rim said, "Since both of us are actors, we lived our lives separately. It still feels like my husband is on a shoot somewhere. When I look at photos during my free time, I always think of him and feel sorry for not being able to do more." However, she added, "I don't have time to be depressed. I just have to work hard on my own life."
Kim Yong-rim married the late Nam Il-woo in 1965 and they have a son and a daughter. Their son, Nam Seong-jin, is an actor who debuted as part of SBS's third talent recruitment and married fellow actress Kim Ji-young in 2004. Nam Il-woo passed away last March due to old age.
