
Actor Byun Woo-seok has secured the top spot in the Rising Star brand reputation rankings.
According to the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute, the big data analysis results for the Rising Star brand reputation in April 2025 showed Byun Woo-seok in 1st place, Go Yoon-jung in 2nd, and Day6 in 3rd.
The Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute measured 49,386,585 pieces of big data on Rising Star brands from March 30, 2025, to April 30, 2025, analyzing consumer behavior to assess participation index, media index, communication index, and community index for star brands. This represents a 12.14% decrease compared to the 56,211,060 pieces of big data from March.
The analysis of Rising Star brand reputation can measure consumer relationships with Rising Star brands, positive and negative evaluations, media interest, and the level of consumer interest and communication. Detailed indicators of Rising Star brand reputation include category consumption weight.
The analysis of Rising Star brand reputation targeted categories such as entertainers, singers, trot singers, drama actors, movie actors, boy groups, girl groups, sports stars, advertising models, and rookie idols.
Byun Woo-seok, who ranked 1st in the Rising Star brand reputation, had a participation index of 188,238, a media index of 561,650, a communication index of 1,230,270, and a community index of 1,121,832, resulting in a brand reputation index of 3,101,990. This is a 26.98% decrease compared to the brand reputation index of 4,248,247 in March.
The brand of Go Yoon-jung, which ranked 2nd, had a participation index of 303,044, a media index of 852,406, a communication index of 828,876, and a community index of 710,739, resulting in a brand reputation index of 2,695,065. This is a 43.72% increase compared to the brand reputation index of 1,875,172 in March.
The brand of Day6 (Sungjin, Young K, Wonpil, Dowoon), which ranked 3rd, had a participation index of 151,659, a media index of 393,381, a communication index of 1,040,111, and a community index of 1,011,983, resulting in a brand reputation index of 2,597,134. This is a 25.35% decrease compared to the brand reputation index of 3,327,480 in March.

Analyzing the Rising Star brand category, it shows a 12.14% decrease compared to the 56,211,060 pieces of big data from March. Detailed analysis reveals a 50.54% decrease in brand consumption, a 9.81% decrease in brand issues, an 8.44% decrease in brand communication, and a 5.97% decrease in brand spread.”
He continued, “The Byun Woo-seok brand maintained its 1st place by generating a high response from consumers in the advertising sector. The Go Yoon-jung brand secured 2nd place by demonstrating a strong presence in dramas. The Day6 brand, which ranked 3rd, continues to sell out all seats on their world tour. The Park Ji-hyun brand, which ranked 4th, has shown active participation in trot and entertainment. The Kim Do-young brand, which ranked 5th, garnered attention from professional baseball fans upon returning from injury.”
