Previously, Liz faced plastic surgery rumors due to her drastically changed appearance while reflecting on her actions. In response, she went live and stated, "It's an app. I didn't get my jaw done. People say I've done something to my face, but that's not true. You don't have to worry," dismissing the rumors.
Regarding her return to broadcasting, she mentioned, "I think I will when the time comes. These days, I'm preparing a cosmetics brand."
Liz debuted in 2010 with the group After School and gained popularity through her activities in the unit group Orange Caramel and various entertainment appearances.
However, she has been reflecting on her actions since causing a scandal due to a drunk driving incident in May 2021. She collided with a taxi in front of the Yeongdong Bridge in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam, and her blood alcohol level at the time was at a license revocation level (over 0.08%). In the first trial held in October of the same year, she was fined 15 million won.
