The girl group NewJeans mentioned that they had prepaid for participants at the rally urging the impeachment of President Yoon Suk-yeol.

On the 25th, members of NewJeans appeared on CBS Radio's 'Kim Hyun-jung's News Show'. The members of NewJeans started the broadcast by singing 'Silent Night, Holy Night'.

Hyein explained the reason for choosing the first song, saying, “At the end of the year, various sad events or difficult times from that year come to mind, of course, happy moments do too, but sad things also come to mind. I think everyone has those thoughts around this time, and I wanted to comfort those people with a song, so I chose this piece.”

Kim Hyun-jung remarked to NewJeans, “You have shared quite a lot so far,” and asked, “Since your debut, you have continuously donated album profits, and this year you donated all the proceeds from a university festival to the Korea Scholarship Foundation. You also donated to earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria, and contributed 100 million won for youth caring for their families and children. It’s not just because you have a lot of money that you can donate like this. What prompted you?”

Daniel replied, “We always had the feeling that we wanted to share not just through music but in other ways as well. All five of us feel that way.”

On the 14th, NewJeans prepaid for 110 servings of kimbap, 100 drinks, 150 drinks including coffee and citron tea, 100 bowls of samgyetang, 50 bowls of rice, and 50 bowls of dumpling soup at a restaurant near the rally for the impeachment of President Yoon Suk-yeol. This was a gift for the rally participants.

Daniel explained, “The weather was very cold, and eating warm food can warm you up inside and allow you to have conversations with the people next to you, creating a warmer time together. So I really wanted to do this.”

Haerin expressed her joy, saying, “The Bunnies really appreciated it. We prepared it so that not only our Bunnies but also other fans and participants could enjoy it together. I felt really good knowing that they must have enjoyed it warmly.”

Minji shared, “I received reports from Bunnies that they gathered their cheering sticks, took photos, and shared that they ate together with many fans. I felt really proud. I think many people have been going through tough times this year-end, so I felt that we were able to help even a little. We were really proud and happy.”
