The group VVUP has celebrated the joy of their first award since their debut at a domestic music awards ceremony.

VVUP (Kim, Fan, Su-yeon, Ji-yoon) won the 'Rising Star' category at the '34th Seoul Music Awards' held on the 21st at Incheon Inspire Arena. VVUP topped the final voting for the newly established 'Rising Star' category with overwhelming support from fans worldwide, allowing them to take the stage at the 'Seoul Music Awards'.

VVUP expressed their heartfelt gratitude, saying, "First of all, thank you for giving us such a great award. We understand this as a motivation to work harder, and we will strive even more. Thank you so much, Binnie (fandom name). We love you. We will repay you with good music and performances."

Dressed in black and white, VVUP made their appearance by performing their special single '4 Life' from the artist seats. '4 Life' is an R&B genre song that VVUP attempted for the first time, and the four members confidently sang about the excitement and certainty of falling in love, leaving a lasting impression on the audience.

Following that, VVUP also showcased their digital single 'Giddy Boy', released on the 20th. With a powerful and intense beat, VVUP delivered a quirky yet hip performance. They demonstrated their strong presence as 'global rookies' by providing stable live vocals despite the vigorous choreography.

Meanwhile, VVUP debuted in the music industry last April with their first single album 'Locked On', entering the iTunes K-POP charts in the US, UK, and other countries, proving their limitless potential. With their new song 'Giddy Boy', they captivated global fans with an even more enhanced 'high-teen troublemaker' image.

As proof of this, VVUP not only won at the '34th Seoul Music Awards' but also confirmed their participation in the K-Pop concert 'K-MEGA CONCERT IN ULAANBAATAR' on July 19. Member Kim has been selected as the MC, demonstrating the high interest in VVUP in the global market.
