The trending group TWS (Tourus) promised to share moments of youth with fans around the world.
TWS (Shin Yoo, Do Hoon, Young Jae, Han Jin, Ji Hoon, Kyung Min) held their ‘TWS Comeback Showcase ‘TRY WITH US’’ on the 21st at the Blue Square SOL Travel Hall in Yongsan, Seoul. The showcase was also live-streamed through the global superfan platform Weverse, allowing fans from 141 countries/regions including Korea, Japan, China, Indonesia, and the United States to watch.
TWS introduced their new album to their fandom, 42, and premiered a total of three songs including the title track ‘Is It Not Cool to Jump According to Your Heart?’. True to their reputation as a talented group, their evolved performance struck a chord with fans. The members energized the venue with their live performance, which was so clear that even their breathing could be heard, as they ran around the stage without a moment's rest.
The opening stage ‘Lucky to be Loved’ featured a poignant yet powerful choreography that matched the warm and delicate emotional line of the song. The stage for ‘Is It Not Cool to Jump According to Your Heart?’ provided a refreshing feeling with TWS's free and lively movements. The ‘Random Play’ stage excited fans with a sense of spontaneity as if embarking on an impromptu journey with the members.
In the ‘TRY! 20 WITH US’ corner, where they randomly draw keywords to introduce songs, TWS showcased their wit. Do Hoon, who drew the words ‘backpack’ and ‘impression’ to introduce ‘Freestyle’, started his freestyle rap with “Backpack, I didn’t wear it to school, so I got scolded by the teacher,” bringing great laughter. Shin Yoo, who drew the keywords ‘improvisation’ and ‘challenge’ to explain ‘GO BACK’, said, “42, I’ll challenge you spontaneously. Let’s date,” eliciting cheers from the fans.
TWS also showcased their charming side by acting out the dreams of being twenty through the ‘HAPPY ACCIDENTS’ game, where they stylishly and playfully engaged. The members enjoyed the feeling of being the center of the world while dancing freestyle and showcased their driving skills while holding toy steering wheels, creating joyful memories with fans.
As the showcase concluded, TWS expressed, “We believe that youth is not just for those in their twenties. We hope our new album resonates with everyone experiencing their own youth in various emotions.” They added, “This album is filled with the hottest moments of youth in diverse ways. And we feel that the only ones who can complete that youth are indeed 42. We will work hard, so please keep watching us,” sharing their heartfelt thoughts.
