The group ENHYPEN, which heated up 'Coachella', is returning with a new album in June. This will be their new release approximately 7 months after their previous work 'ROMANCE: UNTOLD -daydream-'.
ENHYPEN (Jungwon, Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunwoo, Niki) made a surprise announcement through a live broadcast on the global superfan platform Weverse right after finishing their stage at the 'Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival' on the 13th, saying, "We have one piece of news. We are coming back on June 5."
According to their agency Belift Lab, ENHYPEN has been putting in great effort into the preparation for the 'Coachella' performance while also working on their mini album 6. As ENHYPEN has established their team identity with a unique album narrative and concept, global fans are looking forward to the new music and stories they will present.
ENHYPEN has grown through five series: 'BORDER', 'DIMENSION', 'MANIFESTO', 'BLOOD', and 'ROMANCE'. The boy who crossed the border faced a multifaceted (DIMENSION) world of confusion and chaos, then declared (MANIFESTO) his own answers to his generation. They have conveyed the story of 'me' who realizes a fateful community connected by blood (BLOOD) and shares love (ROMANCE) with 'you', who belongs to a completely opposite world.
In particular, ENHYPEN showed explosive growth last year, standing tall as a 'K-pop top tier'. Their second full album 'ROMANCE: UNTOLD' reached the status of 'triple million seller', and 'ROMANCE: UNTOLD -daydream-' set a new record for the highest initial sales of a K-pop repackaged album (1,406,926 copies).
ENHYPEN's albums sold over 5.45 million copies last year alone, making it the third highest figure among K-pop artists. Based on this, ENHYPEN proved their solid album power by ranking highest among K-pop artists in the '2024 Global Album Sales Chart' and '2024 Global Album Chart' announced by the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI).
ENHYPEN's momentum continues this year as well. They recently captivated viewers by appearing on the popular American talk show 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' with the release of their digital single 'Loose'. On the 13th, they made their first appearance at the largest music festival in the U.S., 'Coachella Valley', leaving a strong impression with their energetic performance and live show. ENHYPEN will take the stage at 'Coachella' once again on the 19th (local time).
