The group UNIS is aiming for the music scene this April with their charming appeal.
UNIS (Jin Hyun-joo, Nana, Jelly Danga, Kotoko, Bang Yoon-ha, Alicia, Oh Yoon-ah, Lim Seo-won) officially announced their comeback on April 15 through the promotion scheduler for their second mini album 'SWICY' released on their official SNS channel at midnight on the 31st.
The released scheduler features the promotion schedule for 'SWICY' densely laid out on a pink recipe book. Along with this, the design, decorated with school uniforms, student IDs, cookies, and forks, maximizes UNIS's youthful energy and kitschy mood, catching the eye.
According to the scheduler, UNIS will officially kick off their comeback starting April 1. They will showcase three versions of concept photos over five days from April 1 to 7. It already sparks curiosity about what visuals and charms UNIS will present in each concept photo.
There is also a wealth of content to gauge the musical color of this new release. Starting from the 9th, they will leave hints about the title track and included songs through the tracklist, music video trailer, and highlight medley. Then, just before the release of the new album on the 14th, they will unveil a music video teaser to heighten the excitement.
'SWICY' is the album that UNIS will release about eight months after their first single album 'CURIOUS' released last August. 'SWICY' is a neologism combining 'Spicy' meaning hot and 'Sweet' meaning sweet.
UNIS will unfold stories and emotions set in a school background with the keyword 'SWICY'. The new album is expected to showcase the natural charms that emerge from the age of the eight members.
Having revealed their colorful charm through two albums, including their debut album 'WE UNIS' and single album 'CURIOUS', UNIS has now raised the anchor for a full-fledged comeback, hinting at their spicy and sweet appeal. Expectations are rising for the unpredictable and diverse aspects of the girls that they will express through 'SWICY'.
