Model and broadcaster Lee Hyun-yi shared her recovery updates after suffering a nose bone fracture during a variety show shoot.

On her YouTube channel ‘Working Mom Lee Hyun-yi’, a video titled ‘Introducing the Neighborhood while Organizing Fall Clothes’ was released on the 18th.

Lee Hyun-yi mentioned, “A lot has happened in the past month,” as she brought up her recent injury news.

She laughed and said, “My nose got broken,” adding, “I couldn’t do anything for a month and just stayed at home. I stood in front of you all only after taking off the nose splint.”

Lee explained that the accident occurred while filming the SBS variety show ‘Goal Diggers’, stating, “I collided with the back of an opponent’s head while attempting a header during a soccer match. If I were a professional, I would have looked around, but I just ran after the ball. It was 100% my fault,” she said calmly.

Regarding the need for surgery, she said, “It wasn’t about inserting a plate or support; it was just about aligning the broken bone with a device to its original shape,” and added, “It takes about 3 months to fully harden. Since I’m older, I need to be more careful.”

Lee Hyun-yi is expected to gradually resume her broadcasting schedule. Currently, she is sharing daily content through her YouTube channel as she enters her recovery phase.
