Actors Lee Junho and Kim Min Ha shared their thoughts on working together.
On the afternoon of the 1st, a production presentation for tvN's new weekend drama ‘Typhoon Company’ (directed by Lee Na Jung, written by Jang Hyun, planned by Studio Dragon, produced by Imaginerus, Studio PIC, and Tree Studio) was held at The Link Seoul Hotel in Guro-gu, Seoul. The event was attended by director Lee Na Jung, Lee Junho, and Kim Min Ha.
‘Typhoon Company’ depicts the struggles and growth of ‘Kang Tae Poong’, a rookie businessman who becomes the president of a trading company with no employees, money, or products during the 1997 IMF crisis.
Lee Junho plays the carefree and reckless Kang Tae Poong, while Kim Min Ha plays the sharp and competent accountant Oh Mi Shun, as they share stories filled with laughter and bittersweet moments from that era.
When asked about her chemistry with Lee Junho, Kim Min Ha immediately responded, “It’s really good. It’s really fun,” eliciting laughter. She explained, “Every time we work together, Junho always opens up, and even when unexpected things happen, we accept each other and keep creating more fun scenes.”
She added, “We naturally become comfortable, rely on each other, and while thinking together, many unexpected scenes come out, so I am learning a lot.”
Lee Junho also mentioned, “Even when we are just standing there without speaking, there is a subtle chemistry that exists,” and shared, “Once we feel that fun, we try to fill in the ad-libs or empty breaths, which adds a lot of fun to the drama.”
He continued, “When filming with Min Ha, I think we had a ‘perfect match’ chemistry even without much adjustment.”
‘Typhoon Company’ will premiere on the 11th at 9:10 PM on tvN.
