Contestant Jo Eun-se has become the first eliminated contestant of 'Our Ballad'.
The broadcast of SBS 'Our Ballad' on the 23rd depicted the first round of the main competition.
On that day, Jo Eun-se revealed that a song video she filmed while waiting for the subway became a hot topic on social media, recording an enormous number of views. The video with the highest views is a duet with her father, who is a guitarist.
Jo Eun-se chose Big Bang's 'IF YOU' as her first ballad and sang passionately. However, she did not receive more than 100 votes and faced elimination.
Jeon Hyun-moo commented, "What's more disappointing is that it was 98 votes." Park Kyung-rim said, "Just because we like it doesn't mean it will work, and just because the 'Top Back Gwi' members like it doesn't mean it will work either. I felt again that opinions are really different this time."
Cha Tae-hyun, the only judge among the 'Top Back Gwi' who did not press the button, stated, "You did really well, but honestly, it was a scene I've seen too many times. I've seen this style too much on YouTube and elsewhere, so I didn't press the button. It's a matter of taste; there's no doubt about your skill."
