DAY6's Sungjin reminisced about the early days of their debut.
On the 10th, DAY6 appeared as guests on tvN's 'You Quiz on the Block'.
On this day, Sungjin recalled the early days of their debut when they did not receive much attention, saying, "I had many big dreams like performing at the Super Bowl halftime show, but as soon as we debuted, it became modest. The first settlement amount was 3,600 won."
Sungjin mentioned that he worked hard to secure opportunities as the reality after debut did not change. He said, "Whenever I was invited as a radio guest and there was a gathering at the radio station, I would definitely go. I tried to promote us as much as possible."
He continued, "At that time, a bowl of instant noodles cost about 600 won. I thought, 'If we save up and buy 6 a month, it would be okay.' Even though I was the leader, I received extra pocket money from my parents to treat the members. We didn't have money."
He added, "I also did some groundwork. Whenever I met writers, I would say, 'There is a band called DAY6, and I would appreciate it if you could listen to our song.' I did everything I could when we got to appear on programs."
