Park Seo-jin's younger sister has passed the GED.
In the episode of KBS2's 'Salrimnam Season 2' aired on the afternoon of the 6th, Park Seo-jin and Park Hyo-jung appeared as the first Salrimnam.
On this day, Seo-jin came to greet her sister who took the GED. As Hyo-jung got off the bus, Seo-jin exclaimed, "Hey! Let’s see," and tried to grab her bag. However, Hyo-jung defended her bag, saying, "I don't need to look at the test paper. Let's go home and grade it."
Looking more downcast than usual, Hyo-jung said, "Science had answers that changed often, and math was really hard. I didn't understand a whole page," and continued to talk. Seo-jin responded, "Hey! If you're going to take it four times, wouldn't it be better to just go to school? If you had gone to school, you would have already graduated."
Seo-jin then showed the test paper to the citizens, saying, "Look at this," and took Hyo-jung to the courthouse. It turned out she wanted to demonstrate her earlier comment that if you fail the GED, you would be removed from the family register.
At that moment, divorce attorney Park Min-cheol appeared in front of the siblings. When the attorney asked why they were fighting, Seo-jin replied, "It's because of Park Hyo-jung's GED. She's on her third attempt, and if she fails this time, it will be her fourth. If she fails this time, I’m really going to remove her from the family register." The attorney responded, "Wow... that is indeed a rare case."
In response to Seo-jin's comment about removing Hyo-jung from the family register if she fails, Hyo-jung said, "I will remove you from the family register and dig up your poop with a spoon." However, the attorney surprisingly said, "The term family register has disappeared now. There is one way. You need a DNA test. If your sister is not really your sister, then you can actually remove her. Otherwise, legally, you cannot."
The attorney remarked, "I've seen many third attempts. I've seen university and bar exams. But I've never seen a GED before," looking at Hyo-jung with curiosity.
After watching the evidence video prepared by Seo-jin, the attorney said, "If there is an injury, it is recognized as assault," and added, "Let’s watch the video again. There is a lot of evidence for assault."
Pointing to the video where Hyo-jung hit her, Seo-jin reported, "Since that day, my neck has been stiff. My forehead is bruised, and I have circular hair loss." However, the attorney declared, "Since it's a game, it's sports. Go to the X side. This is the rule of the game, so if the rules were followed, it's not guilty. Hyo-jung is not guilty."
Regarding Hyo-jung's unrequited love incident with her English teacher, the attorney laughed, saying, "Being deceived is being deceived," and added, "This is a fierce courtroom battle." Observing this, the attorney commented, "Siblings who fight like this have a good relationship. The probability of parents who fight getting divorced is much lower. If I may say so, the probability of your parents getting divorced is 0%."
The attorney then decided to grade Hyo-jung's test paper himself. The scores were 64 in Korean, 64 in Social Studies, 55 in Math, 56 in Science, 68 in Korean History, and 64 in Physical Education, with only the highly anticipated English subject remaining. However, contrary to expectations, the English score was 72. Baek Ji-young applauded.
Seeing her sister pass the GED, Park Seo-jin smiled and said, "Now you're a high school graduate. Congratulations."
The second Salrimnam featured Lee Min-woo. He announced to his parents, "My fiancée and daughter are coming home tomorrow," dropping a bombshell. He revealed in an interview, "If I tell them in advance, they fill the fridge and buy all sorts of things, so I didn't want to burden them by telling them early."
Upon arriving at the airport, Lee Min-woo welcomed his fiancée and daughter. The fiancée said, "I had come to Korea for a trip, but now that I'm organizing my things and coming to Korea for good, I felt nervous and it felt different."
At the same time, Min-woo's parents went shopping and started cooking to welcome the new family. When Min-woo, his wife, and daughter arrived home, they greeted Min-woo's parents. Min-woo's parents warmly welcomed them, saying, "Oh, you worked hard to come," and Min-woo's daughter hugged her grandparents.
