Joo Jong-hyuk shared his thoughts on appearing in 'Confidence Man KR'.
On the afternoon of the 1st, a production presentation for TV Chosun's new drama 'Confidence Man KR' was held at the Stanford Hotel in Sangam, Seoul. Director Nam Ki-hoon and actors Park Min-young, Park Hee-soon, and Joo Jong-hyuk attended.
Joo Jong-hyuk described his character Gu-ho as someone who "always believes he is at the center of things, but is often the only one unaware of certain events and always ends up being taken advantage of. He has a strong clumsy charm."
Regarding the various makeup looks he had to adopt for this project, Joo Jong-hyuk revealed, "One of the memorable experiences was dressing as a woman, and in the actual drama, I am seen as a woman. I realized that the makeup process takes a long time. There were many uncomfortable aspects. I was worried about how to walk and how to adjust my voice."
He continued, "It took about two and a half hours to do the makeup. Externally, wearing heels made me look like I was 190cm tall. I have a big Adam's apple, and that couldn't be hidden," which drew laughter.
'Confidence Man KR' is a con artist drama featuring three versatile con artists seeking revenge against the villains of this era, and it will air on the 6th at 9:10 PM.
