Park Young-kyu underwent a colonoscopy for the first time in his 73 years of life.

On the afternoon of the 19th, KBS2's ‘Salrimhanun Namjadeul Season 2’ (hereafter ‘Salrimnam’) featured Park Young-kyu and his wife undergoing a health check-up.

In the broadcast, after completing all the tests, the couple headed to the consultation room to hear the results. The doctor, who was looking seriously at Park Young-kyu, said, “The purpose of the health check-up is to treat any issues before they develop into cancer. It seems that it is a great relief that you had this examination. There are some problems, though,” he began.

He continued, “There is a polyp about 6mm in size, and if it had been left for another 2-3 years, it could have progressed to colon cancer,” shocking both Park Young-kyu and all the panelists in the studio. Eun Ji-won exclaimed, “But why did you suddenly decide to get tested? Oh, was it because our production team suggested it? I'm really glad you did!”

‘Salrimnam’ airs every Saturday at 9:15 PM.
