In 'Sajangui', Boss Jeong Ji-sun, who has transformed into a global star, showcases his dramatically changed international status.
The 315th episode of KBS2's 'Sajangnim Gwi-eun Dangnagi Gwi' (hereafter 'Sajangui'), airing on the 20th, features Boss Jeong Ji-sun, who has swept high-end advertisements, including a beer commercial and a car advertisement, which only top stars get to do, confirming his changed global status. When Jeon Hyun-moo mentioned, "Recently, Chef Jeong Ji-sun has been buying a lot of American snacks," Kim Sook replied, "Last time, he brought back snacks from Taiwan," revealing Jeong Ji-sun's extraordinary journey that is taking the world by storm.
Jeong Ji-sun stated, "I went to Taiwan last month. I shot a beer commercial and a men's magazine photoshoot," adding, "Since I did well at the last car event, this time I got an advertisement from there. The photoshoot is already done, and I will be filming the commercial next month," surprising everyone by revealing his popularity to the extent of signing a contract for a high-end German car advertisement.
When a disciple of Boss Jeong Ji-sun expressed concern, "Shouldn't you have a place to stay overseas?" Jeong Ji-sun coolly replied, "I should make a vacation home overseas," causing a stir in the studio. Jeon Hyun-moo marveled, "Why does Taiwan love Jeong Ji-sun?" and Park Myung-soo exploded with jealousy, saying, "I feel so small that I can't even broadcast with Jeong Ji-sun anymore."
As Chef Jeong Ji-sun's hot status goes global, his close friend Haha proposes a collaboration. It involves Jeong Ji-sun's Dongpo pork and Haha's pork belly together.
Haha then said, "I cry every day because of the pork belly restaurant that Kim Jong-kook and I run," adding, "But Kim Jong-kook said, 'I thought that money from seven years ago was nonexistent,'" revealing that after a long period of being frugal, Kim Jong-kook made headlines by purchasing a house for 6.2 billion won in cash, which turned out to be the pork belly restaurant with Haha where he had invested and failed.
'Sajangui' airs every Sunday at 4:40 PM.
