In the latest episode of ‘The Jeon Hyun-moo Plan 2’, Jeon Hyun-moo and Kwak Tube visited treasure restaurants in Suwon with their 'eating friend' Young Tak, stimulating the viewers' senses.
In the 38th episode aired on the 18th, Jeon Hyun-moo and Kwak Tube (Kwak Jun-bin) embarked on a food trip to explore the 54th treasure restaurant in Suwon.
Upon arriving in Suwon, Jeon Hyun-moo said, "The first meal is the official breakfast of ‘The Jeon Hyun-moo Plan’, which is gukbap (rice soup). It's a 24-hour restaurant, but there's always a wait," and hurried along. Indeed, Jeon Hyun-moo and Kwak Tube had to wait for a while holding 'number 16' before entering the restaurant. The two enjoyed a full course meal, including beef boiled meat, spicy boiled meat, and gukbap, amidst customers from all over the country, exclaiming, "This is the best meat restaurant I've been to for hangover soup! It's ranked number one for beef hangover soup!"
The two went to meet their 'eating friend' Young Tak. When Kwak Tube met Young Tak for the first time, he asked for a video with his parents' names included, receiving a full fan service. However, a passerby exclaimed, "Oh, it's Young Tak! Oh, it's Jeon Hyun-moo, and the travel is over there," causing Kwak Tube to swallow a bitter smile at the 'recognition humiliation'.
The three arrived at Suwon's Paldalmun Market, and Jeon Hyun-moo was amazed by the citizens' requests for handshakes with Young Tak, saying, "My popularity is completely different." Young Tak showcased his popularity by quickly securing a spot at a 47-year-old traditional jjolmyeon (cold noodles) restaurant.
The three ordered jjolmyeon and dumplings, showcasing a happy eating broadcast. Jeon Hyun-moo received the spiciest jjolmyeon ever made in 47 years and enjoyed it, flaunting his 'spice pride'. Young Tak shared stories about his days of obscurity, saying, "I was unknown for about 15 years, but one of the reasons I succeeded is that I had a lot of good people around me. Many people told me, 'It's okay, you can sing'." He added, "Hyun-moo hyung also supported me after the recording of ‘Hidden Singer’, even though he can't drink well, he turned red and kept encouraging me, saying, 'If you keep going, you'll do well'."
Jeon Hyun-moo mentioned, "Suwon is famous for its ribs, so I had a lot of trouble choosing. But I couldn't miss this place," leading Kwak Tube and Young Tak to a high-end restaurant. At this restaurant, the three enjoyed a beautifully arranged table of side dishes and grilled beef ribs, savoring the meat's aroma. They exclaimed, "As soon as it enters my mouth, it's different in 0.5 seconds. It's really delicious," about the seasoned beef ribs made with a secret ingredient, cheoncho.
Amidst the joyful eating broadcast, an excited Young Tak revealed his new song, a duet with Kim Yeon-ja, for the first time on air.
When asked about marriage, Young Tak replied, "After the trot audition program, I've been actively working for five years. I started getting busy with work at 38. So right now, I have no thoughts of marriage. I'm having too much fun and happiness working. If I get married, I would have to let go of a lot and choose a different path, but this path is still my driving force for living."
Regarding his ideal type, he stated, "I like someone with a bright smile and personality, like Anne Hathaway or Julia Roberts."
When asked about his relationship style, whether he resolves conflicts immediately or takes time, Young Tak humorously responded, "If it's my fault, I apologize right away, but if it's the other person's fault, I do a fact check."
