Actor Lee Soo-hyuk revealed the reason for choosing ‘S-Line’.

On the afternoon of the 7th, a press conference and production presentation for the Wavve original drama ‘S-Line’ was held at CGV Yongsan I-Park Mall in Seoul. Director Ahn Joo-young, along with actors Lee Soo-hyuk, Lee Da-hee, Arin, and Lee Eun-saem attended the event.

‘S-Line’ is a fantasy thriller that reveals hidden truths and forbidden desires as a red line, known as the S-Line, begins to appear between people who have sexual relationships. It is an expanded work based on the webtoon of the same name by popular webtoon artist Kkomabi.

Lee Soo-hyuk, who plays the role of detective Han Ji-wook, who simultaneously investigates the secrets of the S-Line and a murder case, said, “Since it’s a detective role, I felt that I could show a different charm from what I’ve done before, so I read the script with pleasure and enjoyed the webtoon as well. I chose this project because I believe that after filming diligently, I will be able to show a side of myself that I haven’t been able to show before.”

Lee Soo-hyuk, whose filming period overlapped with ‘Queen Woo’, mentioned, “Since the two characters are very different, I prepared a lot on my own, but I relied heavily on the director. Just as I had a desire to show various aspects as an actor while reading, the director also considered it important and helped me, even though it could be a risk.”

Director Ahn Joo-young emphasized that since the character Han Ji-wook has many lines in his setting, it had to be convincing, which is why he proposed the role to Lee Soo-hyuk.

‘S-Line’ will release 2 episodes on the 11th, 2 episodes on the 18th, and 2 episodes on the 25th, totaling 6 episodes.
