The four leading actors of ‘Cheongdam International High School 2’ revealed the keywords of the work ahead of its first broadcast.
The new drama ‘Cheongdam International High School 2’ (written by Kwak Young-im, directed by Lim Dae-woong and Park Hyung-won) is a high-teen psychological thriller that combines a power game at the elite Cheongdam International High School with a youth romance, set to premiere on July 3 at 5 PM.
In this season 2, Lee Eun-sam, who plays Kim Hye-in, a character from a humble background entering the ‘Diamond 6’, described ‘Cheongdam International High School 2’ as “color.” She explained, “There are really diverse students with various colors at Cheongdam International High School,” adding that it is a colorful story depicted by various characters, which heightened expectations.
Kim Ye-rim, who will showcase a tense rivalry with Lee Eun-sam, referred to her character Baek Je-na as the “Cold Queen of Diamonds” and defined this work as “a collection of gems.” She mentioned, “Many wonderful rising actors are participating,” and stated, “The different gem-like characters will provide viewers with a unique enjoyment,” sparking curiosity.
Kim Min-kyu, who plays the transfer student Cha Jin-wook at Cheongdam International High School and will create a thrilling tension with Kim Ye-rim, said, “Cheongdam International High School 2 is a concentration of ‘desire.’ All characters fiercely pursue their own desires and goals,” raising curiosity about what kind of desire his character ‘Cha Jin-wook’ will display.
Won Kyu-bin, who plays Lee Sa-rang, a character devoted to Hye-in, listed the keywords for his character as ‘faith,’ ‘hope,’ and ‘love,’ explaining, “Love exists solely for Hye-in,” which raises expectations for ‘Lee Sa-rang’s pure love. He also expressed special affection for this drama, stating it is a work filled with the ‘love’ of the director, all staff, and actors.
In particular, this season will captivate viewers with the introduction of new characters, a more dynamic story than before, and unpredictable, thrilling developments. Therefore, anticipation is building for the chemistry of those who will lead the drama.
