In ‘Salon de Holmes’, the cast of the ‘Shinbyung’ series including Kim Min-ho, Kim Hyun-kyu, Lee Sang-jin, Kim Hee-soo, and Lee Chung-gu will make special appearances, showcasing their loyalty to director Min Jin-ki.
ENA's new Monday-Tuesday drama ‘Salon de Holmes’ (written by Kim Yeon-sin, directed by Min Jin-ki and Jeong Hyun-nam) is a comedic romance action drama set in the Gwangseonju Apartment, featuring a former ace detective, an insurance king, and the queen of part-time jobs, who come together as problem solvers to punish the apartment villains.
This work is a collaboration between director Min Jin-ki, who led the ‘Shinbyung’ series to success, and writer Kim Yeon-sin of ‘My Man's Secret’, with additional support from Ahn Yong-jin, a writer from the ‘SNL series’, raising expectations even further. In particular, the four uniquely talented actors Lee Si-young, Jeong Yeong-joo, Kim Da-som, and Nam Gi-ae come together to showcase a fantastic woman’s chemistry.
Notably, actors from the ‘Shinbyung’ series directed by Min Jin-ki are set to make surprise appearances in ‘Salon de Holmes’, generating excitement. Kim Min-ho, Kim Hyun-kyu, Lee Sang-jin, Kim Hee-soo, and Lee Chung-gu, who all delivered outstanding performances in the ‘Shinbyung’ series, are expected to bring their delightful energy to ‘Salon de Holmes’. The released stills capture the actors showcasing their unique personalities, heightening anticipation for the show.
First, Kim Min-ho, who played the lead role of Park Min-seok in the ‘Shinbyung’ series, will transform into a part-time worker at a meat restaurant, providing crucial assistance in punishing the villains. Additionally, Kim Hyun-kyu, known for his role as the ultimate villain ‘Seong Yoon-mo’ in ‘Shinbyung’, is showcasing his intellectual side in a doctor's gown, raising curiosity about his role in ‘Salon de Holmes’.
The performances of Lee Sang-jin, Lee Chung-gu, and Kim Hee-soo are also highly anticipated. Lee Sang-jin will make a surprise appearance in an unexpected role right from the first episode, opening the door to laughter. Lee Chung-gu, who appears as a fellow trainer at the gym where Gong Mi-ri's husband ‘Park Seung-ho’ works, is expected to catch attention with his impressive physique, reminiscent of his ace character in the ‘Shinbyung’ series. Lastly, Kim Hee-soo will play a junior police officer to Noh Gang-sik (played by Oh Dae-hwan), the husband of Chu Kyung-ja (played by Jeong Yeong-joo), once again showcasing their senior-junior chemistry after working together in ‘Shinbyung 3’.
The production team of ‘Salon de Holmes’ stated, “Kim Min-ho, Kim Hyun-kyu, Lee Sang-jin, Kim Hee-soo, and Lee Chung-gu, who appeared in ‘Shinbyung’, have come together for a laugh support mission in ‘Salon de Holmes’ due to their connection with director Min Jin-ki,” adding, “They are expected to deliver strong laughter and impressive performances with their solid acting skills, so please check it out through the broadcast.”
Meanwhile, ENA's new Monday-Tuesday drama ‘Salon de Holmes’ will premiere on Monday, June 16, at 10 PM.
