Jo Jae-zu denied allegations of chart manipulation.
On the afternoon of the 24th, Jo Jae-zu and his manager, composer Ahn Young-min, appeared on the MBC entertainment program ‘The Manager’s Perspective’ (hereafter ‘The Manager’s Perspective’).
During the broadcast, when asked by the production team if they expected it to do well, the manager replied, “Not at all. Someone posted the music video on social media, and suddenly within a day, the views exceeded 500,000 and kept rising. It was the first time I experienced something like this in 26 years of making music. But since we received so much love all of a sudden, many people are suspicious of chart manipulation, so we directly contacted the investigating agency because we are so confident.”
Jo Jae-zu also laughed and said, “In fact, we are not that kind of company at all.”
