Ryu Un shared his thoughts on appearing in ‘Weak Hero Class 2’.
On the morning of the 21st, a production presentation for the Netflix series ‘Weak Hero Class 2’ was held at Hotel Naru in Seoul. Planning director Han Jun-hee, director Yoo Soo-min, and actors Park Ji-hoon, Ryu Un, Choi Min-young, Yoo Soo-bin, Baek Na-ra, Lee Min-jae, and Lee Joon-young attended.
Ryu Un introduced his character Park Hu-min as “a very justice-driven, strong leader of the Silver Gang who values friendship and loyalty with his friends.”
He continued, “In the beginning, I tried to show a bright and cheerful side. As the story progresses, there are desperate moments to protect my friend, so I worked hard to show a heavier side in the latter part.”
When asked, “What does Si-eun mean to you?” Ryu Un answered, “A friend who can help Si-eun, who has trauma, to resolve her trauma. A friend she can lean on a little.”
Ryu Un gained 10kg for the character of Park Hu-min. He said, “I am currently losing it,” and added, “Please look forward to refreshing action.”
‘Weak Hero Class 2’ depicts the desperate survival and brilliant growth of a model student, Yeon Si-eun, who transferred to Silver Gang after facing violence for the sake of her friend but ultimately could not protect them, and now confronts greater violence to ensure she never loses a friend again. It will be released on the 25th.
