In ‘Eagle Brothers’, Ahn Jae-wook cleared up a misunderstanding with Um Ji-won and apologized.

In the 16th episode of KBS2's weekend drama ‘Please Take Care of Eagle Brothers!’ (directed by Choi Sang-yeol and Lee Jin-ah, written by Koo Hyeon-sook), a stormy development unfolded that kept viewers glued to their screens. The episode recorded a viewership rating of 21% (based on Nielsen Korea nationwide), ranking first among all programs aired on the weekend, continuing its dominant presence in weekend dramas.

In this episode, Ma Gwang-sook (played by Um Ji-won) realized that the scene of her alleged affair witnessed by Han Dong-seok (played by Ahn Jae-wook) was a misunderstanding, leading her to burst into laughter. However, Gwang-sook soon became heated and began to clarify the situation. As Gwang-sook left in anger, Dong-seok, confused, realized that he had misunderstood all along.

Meanwhile, Gwang-sook was taken aback when Park Sang-nam (played by Gong Jeong-hwan), whom she thought was a finished relationship, came to visit her. Despite Gwang-sook's rejection, Sang-nam enjoyed the food prepared by Princess Sil (played by Park Jun-geum), which frustrated Gwang-sook.

Gwang-sook firmly drew the line with Joo-sil, stating that there was no chance of her getting involved with Sang-nam. Joo-sil, displeased with Gwang-sook's attitude, scolded her, saying, “Who do you think is doing this for your sake? I feel sorry for your life, living the rest of your days hearing the word widow.” Gwang-sook cheerfully retorted, “Let’s not do this among fellow widows. Instead of thinking about how pitiful or unfortunate we are, let’s live confidently and boldly. Okay?”

Dokgo Se-ri (played by Shin Seul-ki) coincidentally ran into Oh Ha-ni's (played by Lee Bom) mother, Na Young-eun (played by Choi Yoon-young), at a hair salon. Se-ri, who was annoyed by Young-eun's actions of abandoning her child, had a refreshing moment when she stuck gum in Young-eun's hair. Additionally, Se-ri's feelings towards Oh Beom-soo (played by Yoon Park) sparked curiosity.

The detailed background regarding Kim Sun-hwa (played by Ahn Mi-na) was revealed, heightening the drama's intrigue. According to Ji Ok-bun's (played by Yoo In-young) deduction, Sun-hwa had a daughter, and it was revealed that the father of the daughter was a gang leader, shocking the audience.

Dong-seok informed Gwang-sook that ‘Jang Gwang-ju’ (a drink named after Gwang-sook and Jang-soo) was finally decided as the serving drink for the festival. He also politely apologized for his previous mistake, but Gwang-sook, still upset, maintained a cold demeanor. However, her inability to hide her joy after ending the call brought smiles to the viewers.

Moon Mi-soon (played by Park Hyo-joo) received exciting news related to Jang Gwang-ju from the convenience store headquarters. She tried to call Oh Cheon-soo (played by Choi Dae-cheol) to share the news, but when he didn’t answer, she continued to call with a worried heart.

At the end of the broadcast, a crisis ending unfolded as Cheon-soo collapsed in a goshiwon and was transported to the emergency room unconscious. The question of whether Cheon-soo would be safe heightened curiosity for the next episode.

‘Please Take Care of Eagle Brothers!’ airs every Saturday and Sunday at 8 PM.
