Actress Kim Ah-young is leaving ‘SNL Korea’.
On the 14th, a representative from her agency AIMC stated to Maeil Business Star Today, “Kim Ah-young is departing from ‘SNL Korea’.”
Kim Ah-young joined the cast of ‘SNL Korea’ during the reboot season 3 in 2022 and has been with the show until season 6. She particularly gained popularity for her role as a member of the MZ generation in the hit segment ‘MZ Office’, earning her the nickname ‘Bright-eyed’ (a person with bright eyes).
After leaving ‘SNL Korea’, Kim Ah-young plans to focus on her main career. Following her win for Best Actress (Mini-series Human/Fantasy category) for the SBS drama ‘Judge from Hell’, which ended in November last year, there is much interest in what project she will engage with next.
Meanwhile, ‘SNL Korea’ will return for season 7 on April 5, with actor Ha Jung-woo as the first host.
