Shin Jung-hwan, a member of the group Country Kkokko, has once again clarified the past controversy surrounding dengue fever.
On the 24th, a video titled 'Nononon. Endless rumors and scandals ep.1' was uploaded to the YouTube channel 'Channel Gojeonghae', featuring Shin Jung-hwan, Jang Hye-ri, Kang Byeong-kyu, and Lim Deok-young.
As soon as Shin Jung-hwan appeared, Kang Byeong-kyu asked, "Did you come back from the Philippines? Were you able to enter?" referring to Shin Jung-hwan's overseas gambling incident, which surprised everyone. Shin Jung-hwan had completely halted his entertainment activities in June 2010 due to the overseas gambling controversy and the dengue fever falsehood scandal, leading to a long period of self-reflection.
Immediately, Kang Byeong-kyu praised him, saying, "The original all-round talent is Jung-hwan," but Jang Hye-ri responded, "Is there anything you do properly, oppa?" To this, Shin Jung-hwan humorously replied, "I just couldn't do baccarat," and then added, "I acted too. I acted with Cha Seung-won hyung."
Then, Kang Byeong-kyu mentioned, "Didn't you act lying down? Acting as a patient in bed," referring to the dengue fever incident. With Kang Byeong-kyu's continuous mention of issues, Shin Jung-hwan said, "They bring this up with just one photo from 15 years ago. I’ve cooled down, but every five years they come out and say I was wrong," reflecting, "That was the worst moment of my life."
